Antique/Vtg Copper/Brass Rumidor Brand Humidor NYC Can Picture(s) and Description:
Here is a very old tobacco humidor with a metal divider inside and the lid has a container to provide the moisture. Main part, without lid, is 3 1/4 inches tall and 4 3/8 inches across. With the lid, it is 5 inches tall and weighs 13 ounces. Appears to be made of brass - no parts are magnetic. Can has a silver metal tinned inside. Marking on inside of the lid reads 'The Rumidor Corporation - New York City U.S. patent No. 1,704,908. Other U.S. & Foreign Pats. Issued & Pending'. This is a late 1920's patent number. This tin has some tarnish and dings. I am guessing the exterior bottom section originally had a decorative design wrapped around it. Needs some polishing up, but I'll leave that to its new owner. Please ask questions if you have any! I do my best to describe my items, but I am not an expert in any field. Most of my items are vintage. They naturally show wear from age and use. You are ultimately responsible for viewing photos and asking questions. The pictures show the item or items you will receive. Please check out my other items! We do combine shipments. Be sure to add me to your favorites list! We do ship International via USPO if size and weight allows. We use USPO for smaller items and International shipments but use Fedex for MOST larger size and heavy items (typically over 6 pounds) when shipped within Continental US (excluding Alaska) so will need a street address as Fedex does not ship to a PO Box. PLEASE contact me prior to bidding if you do NOT want a Fedex delivery. The quote includes free tracking. Fedex quote good within the US lower 48 states (Alaska, PR, and Hawaii may be a bit higher). Please request more pictures if desired and ask questions if there is something you are not sure of.
